Here at The Pug Palace, we pride ourselves on having healthy pugs, and responsibly breeding beautiful, adorable, healthy puppies.

My name is Brentan, and I am a pug breeder. I am a micro-breeder, registered with a Source number, and have since regrettably rehomed some of our babies that you see on our facebook page.

Male Pug Stud Melbourne, and The Pug Palace are Not business names. This is a community of like-minded pug lovers, and pug breeders, who would like a place to share pug things!

We support the breeding of pugs by ‘micro-breeders’ – That is, people who have a Source number, and have up to two female dogs, so that they can provide so much love to their babies, and breed responsibly. This belief in responsible breeding causes us to have some enemies, who harass us online, as a lot (not all, of course!) of Dogs Victoria breeders only support breeding of in-bred pugs, which causes so many health problems.

I love my pugs to bits, and I love the joy that people get from adopting beautiful, genetically healthy, adorable pug puppies, and knowing that the puppies will be looked after and loved forever, as they grow and provide much love to their family.

I love knowing that we can, through our pug males, and our fellow micro-breeders pug males, help to support the breed, by allowing people to have their own puppies, to rehome to others – Puppies who don’t have ‘mains’ pedigree papers, genetic disorders, and lifelong health problems.

We do not see our dogs as breeding dogs, or even as dogs… They are part of our family, and we love them to bits.

Pugs are wonderful dogs, and make great companions, for people of all ages. They are great with kids, and love other pets too. A lot of people have pugs and keep them also with a larger breed of dog, and they get along so well.

They are so full of love – Love to play, exercise, and run around – And also love to be lazy, and relax! As well as being very smart dogs, they can also have a silly side, and keep you in stitches with their antics.

We are very selective in the homes that our puppies go to, and will only let them be adopted by loving families whose interests are sincere – Our dealings with customers over time have seen us build an enviable reputation in providing outstanding customer service; we do not enjoy dealing with time wasters who detract from those who are genuinely seeking to introduce a pug furbaby into their family.

We have a few litters throughout the year, so if you are looking to find a beautiful pug to be a part of your family, then please contact us to let us know of your interest, and we can add you to our mailing list, to inform you of when we have puppies ready to find their forever home.

We love to keep in touch with people who adopt our pug puppies, and have The Pug Palace facebook page set up for people to stay in touch, and it creates a real community atmosphere for fellow pug lovers!

If you are selected to adopt one of our pug puppies, we do require a deposit to be made prior to viewing, to secure your puppy. We do not have viewing available at our house until the deposit has been made, as we are busy and really don’t have the time to have 37 people come to view each time we have a litter! We are very selective of who is lucky enough to be able to adopt one of our babies.

*Please note! We receive many emails and messages, and do our best to reply – But still a lot of people like to be time wasters, or ‘tyre-kickers,’ Lol. This can be vey annoying – we are busy with our careers outside of breeding pugs too, so please note that we use our discretion and only reply to people we perceive as having a genuine interest in adopting a pug puppy.

We will not reply to your message if you message us with something similar to the following:

“Wat your address? I want a pug”

“i want a pug puppy, please call me.”

“Do you have pugs how big do they grow”

“Are they purebred”

“I can’t afford it – can we negotiate on price?”

or

“Hi my son is very sick and I just got out of hospital too so can I plz have a pug for just $500?”

We will only reply to genuine enquiries and do our best to reply to everyone that appears truly committed to welcoming a pug to their family.
