Coparenting/ Guardian homes

Welcome to the Pug Palace!

Please enquire if you would like to join the Pug Palace, and be a Coparent to a pair of pugs, free of cost.
We don’t have any ready for coparenting at the moment, but please message to enquire about future litters.
Responsible breeding, is the way to go.

We always want what is best for our babies!

Okay, so here at The Pug Palace, we have a few of our pugs staying with other people – People who have became our good friends! So that each of our babies can have so so much love.

This is a real thing! Lots of breeders do this.

It is called coparenting, or guardian homes. Many breeders do this, and it’s a very responsible way to make sure that each baby is getting so much love.

It is the best way to morally and ethically responsibly bring puppies into the world.

This is a real opportunity.

We call it a coparenting arrangement. Where you would look after a male and a female puppy, so that they would always have each other to play with, which is great as pugs are a very social dog. As well as LOVING their humans of course, they also love to be together.

You would be a member of the Pug Palace!

All of our male and female combinations are completely unrelated to each other of course!!

So how the arrangement works is, our pugs live with you, and so are yours, but they are also ours. So coparenting.

They will live with you forever, and will eventually be completely yours.
Sound too good to be true? It’s not, this is definitely a true and real opportunity.
If you’re interested, read on.

With the male, when he gets older, he will be advertised as a stud dog,. And occasionally we will need to come and collect him from you, and take him on his stud duties for a few days to a week or two, or sometimes (rarely) three weeks at a time… and then we bring him home to you! The whole time he would be completely looked after, and you would know where he is.

So he will be home with you most of the time; and only sometimes out on duty.

As for the female, when she reaches breeding age, the main part of the arrangement is that you are committing to living with a girl who will have puppies.

Each year, from breeding age, she will have one litter, (so skipping each second heat cycle) until she has had three or four litters.. and then we will have her desexed, and then she is completely yours.
This is the internationally recognised best way to have a dog responsibly breed.

I know, some people may be reading this (a lot, actually) who think “How cruel! Making a dog have even one litter is so cruel!!”
Um, excuse me? Where do these people think that dogs come from?
Yes Biology 101, ALL dogs start out life as puppies. And before that, they are in their mother’s womb. And before that, theit mum mates with their dad.

And dogs LOVE having puppies!!!!!!!!!!!!
In exactly the same way as humans love having and raising their own childran, dogs love having puppies,

We can’t magic every dog from a rescue shelter, there needs to be a lot of people sustainably and responsibly breeding dogs, so that dogs can exist. If the people who think dogs having puppies is cruel (WTF?!) had their way, and no one bred puppies… Within less than twenty years dogs would be extinct.

And I don’t lknow about you, but I would never want to live in a world without dogs!!!

I have wrote a blog in the past,’Where to get a dog to join your family?‘ suggesting that people adopt a dog who is in a shelter and needing a new home, before deciding on getting a puppy.

Anyway….. Back to the coparenting/guardian home arrangement……

Each time your girl has a litter, we would either have her birth with you, or we’d collect her to have her birth with us, and then return her to you when the puppies are a week old, or when they are rehomed at eight weeks old… whichever you would prefer! This is completely up to you.

And we would rehome the puppies to loving families, and give you the cost of one of the puppies, as a reimbursement for helping in this, and having her have puppies with you.

The boy and girl will live with you forever, from eight weeks old. You get to name them, and they are yours, as well as ours.

This is a really good arrangement, that works with a lot of people, and if you would be interested then please let us know. Obviously it’s not for everyone. So if ths isn’t something that you’d like, you just have to click the X in the top right hand corner to close the window.
Though for some people, this can be the best opportunity, and the perfect arrangement!

And it’s especially beneficial for all of the dogs, which are our family and yours. And that’s what’s important.

Also please let us know a bit about yourself, and where you are located… as we need to make sure you aren’t too far away, so that this will work.

It allows us to help to fulfill the demand for pugs, in a much more responsible way, and giving our pugs so much love!

If however for some reason you might decide to see this is ‘backyard breeding’ or irresponsible or unethical in any way, please just don’t respond.

We love our babies, and are breeders for the breed, not greed.

We are in it for the love, not the money.

And we love making the world a better place, one puppy at a time!
